An opcode (Claudia) alternative with Codex and Gemini CLI

As of October 28, 2026

opcode calls itself a GUI app and toolkit for Claude Code: a desktop app for Claude Code’s projects and sessions, custom agents, usage and MCP servers, called Claudia until it took the name opcode in August 2025. Moontors is an agentic development environment (ADE), a Claude Code GUI that runs Codex and Gemini CLI too, side by side, on macOS, Windows and Linux.

Moontors:

  • Codex and Gemini CLI beside Claude Code;
  • a release for Windows, as for macOS and Linux, where opcode’s latest release has none;
  • a git worktree for a session, made, used and cleaned up for you, when you want one (Worktrees);
  • an app for Android and iPhone, on Google Play and the App Store, that follows and answers your computer's own sessions over a link encrypted end to end, which no Moontors server can read.
  • You want an open-source app.
  • You use Claude Code alone, and want agents of your own, each with its own prompt and permissions.
  • You want charts of what Claude Code costs you, by model, project and day.
  • You want every CLAUDE.md across your projects found for you, and MCP servers added from the app.
