# Moontors 0.7.4

Released October 19, 2026.

Moontors, the agentic development environment (ADE) for Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI, now has its iPhone app on the App Store, and its Mac app is signed and notarized, so it updates itself. Once a turn is over, a session says what its agent left going, and it can tell you when it's done.

What's new:

- **Moontors for iPhone** is on the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6824488067), beside Moontors for Android on Google Play. It pairs with Moontors 0.6.0 or newer on your computer, by the QR code or the six-digit code your computer shows, on the same Wi-Fi or through a VPN such as Tailscale, and keeps the computers it's paired with on that iPhone alone. **See a demo** on its pairing screen shows sample sessions on a pretend computer. On the computer, **Phones** offers both apps. See [Phone](https://moontors.com/docs/phone/) and the [privacy policy](https://moontors.com/policies/privacy/).
- **The Mac app is signed and notarized**, so macOS opens it with nothing to get past, and it updates itself: a new version downloads on its own, then **Restart to update** installs it and opens Moontors again, as on Windows and Linux. **Check for Updates…**, in the Moontors menu, looks at once. See [Updates](https://moontors.com/docs/updates/).
- Once a turn is over, a session's status says what its agent left going: **Done** with nothing left, **Idle** with how many of its background tasks and subagents still run, such as a dev server, or **Scheduled** with when a timer of its own, as `/loop` sets, wakes it, on its card, in its panel and on the phone. The card's tasks chip is gone. A program a command leaves running on its own, as a server started with `&`, is one Moontors can't see. See [A card](https://moontors.com/docs/sessions-and-board/#a-card).
- **Tell me when it's done**, the bell among a session's buttons in its panel's header, notifies you once the session says **Done**: "Finished, with nothing left running". It's off until you turn it on, stays on for that session, also after a restart, and shows on its card. See [Notifications](https://moontors.com/docs/sessions-and-board/#notifications).
- In an agent's questions, picking the one answer a question takes moves on to the next question, as in Claude Code's own terminal, on the computer and the phone. On the computer the focus goes with it, so the number keys keep working, and the last answer leaves you on **Submit answers**. See [Questions](https://moontors.com/docs/questions-and-plans/#questions).
- The Plan view shows a session's plans as one row of joined numbers, the open one naming its title, and each number's tooltip its whole title. See [The Plan view](https://moontors.com/docs/questions-and-plans/#the-plan-view).
- Clicking a focused project's name again lets it go: its view closes, and the next click opens it again. See [Projects](https://moontors.com/docs/projects/).
- A Codex background command that waited for your approval shows as a task once its turn is over, as Codex's others do. See [Tools and subagents](https://moontors.com/docs/sessions-tools/).
- Fixed: choosing a branch or a commit in the Git view's left column while a commit's file is open closes the file and shows that commit, where the file had stayed over the history.
- The Git view's fetches, **Fetch all** and the one it makes every 3 minutes alike, drop the remote branches deleted on their remote, as a merged pull request's: a local branch that tracked one says "gone", and stays on your computer with its commits. See [Fetch, pull and push](https://moontors.com/docs/diff-and-files/#fetch-pull-and-push).
- Moontors for Android shows a session's status as the computer does, **Done**, **Idle** with what still runs, or **Scheduled**, and its questions move on to the next once you pick an answer. **Scheduled** needs Moontors 0.7.4 on your computer. See [Phone](https://moontors.com/docs/phone/).

Coming from 0.7.3 on a Mac: 0.7.3 can't install a signed update itself, so it says "Moontors 0.7.4 is available." with **Download**. Download 0.7.4, quit Moontors and drag it to Applications, once; from then on, updates install themselves. On 0.7.4's first use, macOS asks once for each API key Moontors keeps for an agent, none if you signed your agents in with a subscription: choose **Always Allow**. Every update asked this until now, and from 0.7.4 on, none will. There's no new Local Network prompt. See [From 0.7.3 on macOS](https://moontors.com/docs/updates/). The Windows and Linux builds still aren't signed, so Windows asks once before Moontors opens. The README's "First launch" and "Updates" sections say what to expect on each platform.
