# Moontors 0.3.0

Released October 10, 2026.

Moontors, the agentic development environment (ADE) for Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI, keeps more of where you were, and asks before anything unsaved is lost on every system.

What's new:

- Each session's views come back exactly as you left them: switch to another session and back, and Files keeps its open tabs in order, the active one, unsaved edits, each editor's scroll, cursor and selection, and the explorer's open folders; Diff keeps the expanded files, the selected one and the scroll.
- Updates are in the menu: Check for Updates… (after About on macOS, in Help on Windows and Linux) checks at once. On Windows and Linux it then shows the download under way and becomes Restart to Update, waiting for running turns as the window's own restart does; on macOS it becomes Download Update…, which opens the download page.
- On Windows, a sign-out or restart with unsaved work now asks Save all, Discard or Cancel, as closing the window does, and on Linux a logout asks too.
- Subagent rows show the model and effort they ran at, where the agent says (Claude's Agent tool, Codex's sub-agents). On Codex, /mcp login <server> opens that server in the configuration and starts its sign-in.
- If the connection to the background service drops and the board's reload fails, the board, your open files and their unsaved edits stay as they were, with the error shown beside them.
- Remove Moontors' Data removes only Moontors' own folders, keeps a home you named (and Moontors' usual one when you launched with another), keeps a data folder it can't identify, and says each refusal or failure in its own words.
- Menus such as Fast, Style and Compact stay inside the session panel, and the app and the site share one type scale.
- The editor takes its focus back as it should after a dialog or a switch.

The macOS and Windows builds still aren't signed, so each asks once before it opens, and macOS updates through its download page for now. The README's "First launch" and "Updates" sections say what to expect on each platform.
